Facility Manager

Essential Functions

  • Supervises Production Manager.
  • Oversee operations of Fish and Game processing as well as production of retail products.
  • Manages retail gift shop.
  • Ensure facility maintenance and janitorial up-keep are completed on time.
  • Assist bookkeeper with banking and payroll duties, including tax return preparation and accounts payable.
  • Make routine bank deposits.
  • Manage advertising via radio, website and social media.
  • Performs marketing duties creating company image on boxes and vacuum bags.
  • Provide quarterly reports to Board of Directors.
  • Recruits, hires, on-boards and trains employees.
  • Ensure licenses and permits are current.
  • Oversees product shipping.
  • Makes all purchases for the facility including,; processing and production supplies; janitorial supplies; office supplies and merchandise for retail gift shop.
  • Use best business practices to manage and reduce operation costs.
  • Create a budget for various facility needs and expenses.
  • Compare costs for various services and goods before choosing the best options for the facility.
  • Track building upkeep as well as anticipated long- and short-term improvements and maintenance.
  • Keep the surrounding grounds properly cared for and landscaped.
  • Respond to emergency situations or other urgent issues involving the facility.

Qualifications

Education

  • Associates in Business Administration or a combination of education and experience may be substituted for a degree.

Experience

  • 1-3 years' experience supervising employees.
  • 3-5 years' experience performing administrative duties.
  • 1-3 years' experience in food processing and associated health and safety requirements.

License/Certification

  • Drivers' License.
